AU was founded in 1996 by Mr. Sanjay Agarwal as a vehicle finance company in Jaipur, Rajasthan, with a mission to make formal finance accessible to India’s underserved and unserved. It began its banking journey in April 2017.
AU Small Finance Bank is India’s largest Small Finance Bank, and the first Small Finance Bank in India to receive an in-principle approval from the Reserve Bank of India to transition into a Universal Bank.

AU Foundation
AU Foundation is the CSR arm of AU Small Finance Bank. The bank’s CSR philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves equal opportunities, regardless of background. Its portfolio covers skill development, women entrepreneurship, sports, healthcare, environment and water conservation, and other need-based initiatives.

Where this learning platform fits
Skill development is one of the areas AU Foundation works in. This platform is part of that work: self-paced courses in English and Hindi on Generative AI, digital tools and financial literacy, offered under a Zero Fee Policy, with a certificate on completion and placement support for learners who want it.
Placement support means help with preparing and applying. It is not a promise of a job.
